For decades, di-soric has developed fork light barriers that set new industry standards. This latest generation features an innovative dual-operation concept, allowing configuration either through IO-Link for all sensor functions (including 4 selectable modes) or via manual switching point adjustment with a potentiometer for simpler applications.
IO-Link integration offers significant value throughout a system’s lifecycle. Installation and commissioning are simplified and accelerated, as standard plug connectors replace complex wiring. This allows for the creation of flexible, cost-effective, and space-saving systems. The benefits extend to parameter configuration and diagnostics, providing system operators with unobstructed access to all sensors. Devices with IO-Link have on-board digital intelligence, enabling them to exchange position, process, and status information digitally. Sensor replacement is also streamlined thanks to data storage in the master using the Smart Sensor Profile, eliminating the need for expert knowledge.
OGU Series – Standard The OGU series combines high resolution with exceptional speed and precision using red and infrared LEDs. These sensors are ideal for detecting small objects and positions quickly and independently of their surface. With high switching frequencies and resolutions, they reliably handle rapid motion sequences.

Field devices with an IO-Link interface feature on-board digital intelligence. This allows them to swap position, process, status and device information easily in a digital format. The sensor can be configured directly using the IO-Link master. Settings can be applied to the sensor directly via drag and drop by means of a control panel.
Even device replacement can be carried out quickly and easily with IO-Link and data storage in the master using the Smart Sensor Profile, without any expert knowledge.
