RIK-5A Rogowski Integrator

The integrator unit contains the seven configurable CT ratios for each channel, three Rogowski coils that measure the current (available in an array of sizes from 16″ to 47″), and the 24Vdc power supply to power the integrator. The integrator unit can be surface mounted or mounted on a standard DIN rail.

What does an Integrator do?
Integrators can amplify and transduce the standard output from the Rogowski coil to a commonly accepted signal, such 5A. The integrator can also compensate for the Rogowski coil’s inherent 90-degree phase shift. The 5A output signal is a commonly used to monitor energy usage from a facility’s panel or through individual load circuits. It provides an easy-to-use solution for 3rd party power meters or other equipment.
